Note to self (and anyone else):
A “rest day” does NOT equal doing a seven mile walk/hike/spin, eating less, going to the gym for a “casual” workout, or running even a mile.
A rest day is doing day to day activities, or laying around with a bowl of cereal and Netflix. A rest day is being lazy, giving your body a COMPLETE break.
There is nothing wrong with not moving. It is essential. Rest days are for rebuilding.
